unsplash.com/ – Only a few images, but what they do have are gorgeous. Great for background images.
picjumbo.com/ – Some great images, and a good search engine to find what you are looking for.
jaymantri.com – Stunning landscape images all shot by one very generous photographer who’s letting you use them for free
superfamous.com/images – These photos are landscapes too, but they are shot in very abstract ways. Great for backgrounds.
nos.twnsnd.co – Cool for vintage photos from public archives
gratisography.com There are some cool, abstract images available on this site
negativespace.co This site features a lot of product-related imagery, like make-up brushes, notebooks etc. Great for corporate websites.
pixabay.com – You’ll find some gorgeous landscapes and photos of animals
stocksnap.io This site feels very much like a regular stock image library
